One-click upgrade

Keep the JetAP connected to the Internet, and then click the Reset button on the JetAP (just a short click, no need to hold), the LED status indicator in the middle of the JetAP will start to flash, indicating that the new firmware is downloaded and upgraded.

The upgrade takes at least 5 minutes. During the upgrade process, JetAP will automatically restart. The red wireless Wi-Fi indicator on the right side of JetAP will go out when restarting and will light up again after restarting, and the upgrade is complete.

Please keep the JetAP connected to the Internet during the upgrade process, and DO NOT disconnect the power! 

  • Since you need to download the new version of the firmware online, the speed of the one-click upgrade will be affected by your internet speed.  Generally, it can be completed in 5 to 10 minutes.
  • After the upgrade is complete, reconnect to the JetAP Wi-Fi, open the JetAP homepage http://192.168.28.1/ with a browser , and there will be the current JetAP firmware version information at the bottom of the page to confirm. If the old version is still displayed, you can click the refresh button of the browser to refresh the page and confirm the version information again.

After JetAP is activated normally, you can stay online for 24 hours and use it at any time. In this way, JetAP will also automatically update when a new version of the firmware is released.
